Registration System for people in Need of Support during Disasters
Kokubunji City is accepting the pre-registration from those who need support from their community in case of disasters. The registrations are done upon an application. This system allows us to share the information about people in need of support in a time of disaster with supporters (such as case workers, child committee members, fire fighters) in the community. These supporters will confirm of registrants’ safety and help the registrants evacuate. The possible people who need to register are: the elderly who live alone, people who are bedridden and unable to walk on their own, handicapped people, expectant mothers and foreign people who do not speak Japanese etc. Please contact Kurashi no Anzen-ka (ex.373) for details.
